Quick Start Guide

Below you will find our Quick Start Guide for using the Concept Suite. You can download a PDF of this guide from the bottom of the page.

1. Touch the AV Control Panel

If using the main Nureva PC, choose PC on the AV control panel and login using the keyboard.

2. Load your materials on the Nureva Span touchscreen

Upon login the Nureva Span application opens. If not using, exit the application. Otherwise login with the details provided by Digital Education. You will see your regular Windows 7 desktop whereby you can open your teaching materials.

3. Turn on the Samsung Flips

The three Samsung Flips can be used either as a digital whiteboard or as a touchscreen computer. To use the computer, click on Import and choose HDMI, and login using the keyboard behind the Flip. Android phones can also be cast onto the Flip using the import function.

4. Adjust the Hue lighting

This can be done using the AV control panel. Choose lights and one of the light combinations for your chosen room layout.

Conecting your own laptop to the Nureva

If using your own computer or device, connect it using the HDMI lead by the window. On the AV control panel choose HDMI as the output. Login using your computer. Do note that the HDMI connections only display on one screen and the Nureva span will work as non-touch screen.

Connecting your phone or tablet

If delivering your class using a smart device, connect it using the appropriate dongle by the window. On the AV control panel choose HDMI as the output. THe smart device should cast to one of the screens immediately. Do note that the HDMI connections only display on one screen and the Nureva span will work as non-touch screen.
